• UVA is filling up fast! With limited spaces remaining, our final 25% of License Agreements offered will be Year Round (Aug 2009-Aug 2010). If you have not received an acceptance letter from the University yet, you are still encouraged to apply to UVA for housing. We can only offer a housing License Agreement to those who have completed their Intent to Enroll which includes paying the University a $150 Intent Deposit. • If you wait to apply to on-campus housing until you're accepted into CSUSM you may not get a space. Only 6% of students live on campus in our 620 bed spaces. Don't wait, apply today!

UVA is the only on-campus housing available at CSUSM. Our housing is modern, includes full kitchens, private bathrooms, community space, and a resort style pool.

• SAN MARCOS EXPERIENCE: The San Marcos Experience is an opportunity for 100 students to live together on campus, take General Education classes within a cohort, and have a customized academic and social enhancement program designed specifically for them. SME is ideal for the student with a strong history of community service and a desire to be civically engaged within your community. Any student who will be living in the University Village Apartment community is encouraged to apply to be a part of the San Marcos Experience. Most Universities charge over $1000 for this program. CSUSM and UVA does not charge anything extra for this experience, that you can only get your Freshman year. Upon acceptance to the SME program, you will be assigned to an apartment located on one of the two designated SME floors within the apartment community. All courses offered as part of the SME will satisfy General Education requirements. Members of SME will automatically be enrolled in 3 classes in the fall.
