What do I need to hook up my computer to the internet?
Each bedroom at Reinhard Villages has a high-speed Ethernet connection. You will need an Ethernet (CAT5) cable in order to hook up your computer.

What size are the beds?
The beds are full size, extra long. Don't worry, regular full size sheets DO WORK! The 'extra long' just means two more inches.

Can additional furniture be brought into the apartment?
Sure, but you can not remove the existing furniture. What you get when you move in, must stay there.

When is my first payment due?
Your first installment is due July 15th. Regular monthly installments begin September 1st.

If I pay in full, do I get a discount?
No. You may pay by the year or installments. There are no discounts or charges for the different payment plans.

If I am over 21, do I need to have a guarantor?
Yes. Residents that are over 25 do not need to have a guarantor. A guarantor is much like a co-signer; they would be financially responsible if you default on your lease.

Will you send me a bill each month for rent?
Unfortunately, no. As with any other type of apartment, payment arrangements are outlined in the lease. Reminders, bills or invoices are not sent on a monthly basis.

How many people live there?
Reinhard has 656 beds for Clarion University students.

How much more does it cost to stay here than on campus?
When price comparing Reinhard to campus, don't forget you are comparing a residence hall room to an apartment! In order to compare apples to apples, please compare our rates with campus single room rates. For example, our 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom flat bedroom is $5,820. A single residence hall room is $5,306.

Do I have to have a meal plan?
No. Reinhard residents are not required to purchase a meal plan since you have your own full size modern kitchen.

When do I put down a deposit?
Reinhard does not have deposits. There is a $225 application and service fee due when you submit your application.

Can I pay my bill with a credit card? Is there an extra charge?
There is no extra charge for paying with either Visa or MasterCard. You may either call or stop by the Leasing Office to fill out a Credit Card Authorization Form. You may also submit a payment online from the Pay Rent link on the Resident's Only page of our website.

Is parking available?
Parking is not a problem! Reinhard parking permits are available in the Leasing Office. Please bring your driver's license, registration and insurance cards with you in order to fill out the necessary paparwork.

What utilities are included in my rent?
We have a one price-covers-all policy that bundles rent and utilities together for maximum convenience. Imagine being able to pay all your bills with one check! Your all-inclusive utilities include: cable connection in the living room and each bedroom, high speed internet connection in each bedroom, local phone line for each apartment, and an electric cap*.

Can I request an apartment or roommates?
After you have submitted your application and processing fee, you will receive a lease packet. In this packet there will be an apartment assignment card. You may preference apartment-mates and villages on this card. Please keep in mind that assignments are made on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Move In Day is August 22, 2008.

What if I need to cancel my lease?
Leases are legal binding documents and are usually not terminated. However, you may submit a request and it will be reviewed. The procedures for submitting a request to terminate your lease are available in the Leasing Office. You may direct your request to Donna, the Community Manager. Decisions are made on a case-by-case basis.

Can I use my financial aid?
Yes! You may submit a financial aid waiver form which allows Reinhard to directly withdraw your rent from your student account on a semester basis. Please be aware that you must submit your waiver form BEFORE the University deadline, which is usually the beginning of August.

How close to campus are you?
Reinhard Villages is located 3/10 of a mile from campus on Greenville Avenue.

What is the cost?
The cost is dependent upon the unit type and the lease term. Please refer to the Floorplans and Rates tab for a complete list of rates.

What types of apartments/rooms are available?
We have four different unit types. The first unit type is a four bedroom, two bathroom flat (which means the apartment is on one floor). The second unit type is a four bedroom, two bathroom loft (which means there are two floors). The third type is a four bedroom, four bathroom. The last unit type is a two bedroom, two bathroom. Please call the Leasing Office for availability.

What types of leases are available?
Reinhard has two types of leases. The Academic Year Lease is from August to May. The Extended Academic Year Lease includes summer and is from August to July.

Is there fire safety equipment in the apartment?
Yes. Each apartment not only has a full sprinkler and fire alarm system, but there is also a fire extinguisher in each kitchen. There are also pull stations on the exterior of each building.

Does the Clarion Area Transit run through Reinhard?
Yes, Reinhard is a stop on the Clarion Area Transit. There are three bus shelters in the Villages for your convenience.

Is it a safe area?
Clarion University's Department of Public Safety patrols Reinhard Villages 24/7, and is available to assist residents. As always, we encourage residents to exercise good judgment and to report any suspicious behavior and/or policy violations to Reinhard Villages Staff or Public Safety.

Do I have to pay for trash removal?
Trash fines are distributed only if your trash does not make it INSIDE the dumpster. You will be charged for any trash that does not make it INSIDE the dumpsters.

How do I pay my rent if the Leasing Office is closed?
There is a rent drop box located in the Community Center for your convenience. Please be sure to include your name and apartment number on your check. You may also submit a payment online from our Resident's Only section of our website.

Can I have guests?
This depends on your apartment-mates and the apartment agreement form. For information on completing an apartment agreement form, please contact your CA.

When is the Leasing Office open?
The Leasing Office hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 8pm. Saturday hours are 10am to 4pm. Sunday hours are 12pm to 5pm.

Do I have to pay for parking at Reinhard?
No. The cost for your Reinhard parking pass is included in your rate.

Can I reserve a room?
No. Room assignments are first-come, first-serve when we receive your lease. Unfortunately we are not able to make room reservations.

Can I switch bedrooms or apartments?
Usually no, however there is a process for circumstances that are irresolvable. The first step in this process is to contact your CA. Please be aware that there is a $200 transfer fee.

Can I switch rooms?
No. You are assigned a certain bedroom in your apartment. Please be sure that you are in your assigned bedroom because you are responsible for any damages that happen to that particular room.
