We have 12 month leases for each type of bedroom units.

What types of apartments/rooms are available?
We offer 2 bedroom 2 bath units and 4 bedroom 4 bath units that are all fully furnished.

How close to campus are you?
We are about a half a mile from the MSU Campus. You will be able to walk, bike, or shuttle to class easily.

What is the cost?
Four bedroom, four bath apartments start at $325. Our newly renovated four bedroom apartments are $340. Two bedroom, two bath are $430. All prices are per person, which means we individually lease here! If your roommate doesn't pay his or her rent, you're not affected! All prices are subject to change.

Can I use my financial aid?
We do not accept financial aid directly from the university.

When can I move in?
The move-in date for Fall 2008 is August 16, 2008.

What if I need to cancel my lease?
There is no termination of lease. You will either need to pay off the rest of your rent for the remaining leased year, or find a lease replacement. You will need to find another person matching the profile of your own and your matched roommates.

Can I request an apartment or roommates?
You may request apartments and/or roommates, but this is just a request. For the most part, you will be paired up with your friends as long as you all sign the lease together.

Is parking available?
We have parking available for both residents and guests at no charge. All resident parking is directly beside the buildings and all guest parking is located away from the buildings marked "visitor."

What utilities are included in my rent?
Water, electric, cable, internet, and sewage are all included in your rent here at The Chase at Murray for one low monthly rent. If there are any overages, they will be divided among all the roommates. Electricity will have a $30 cap per person in the four-bedroom apartments and $40 cap per person in the two-bedroom apartments. The water has a cap of $5 for both the two and four bedroom units.

When do I put down a deposit?
There is no deposit at The Chase. You will be required to pay a $200 non-refundable service fee and a $35 non-refundable application fee at the time of lease signing.

Can I pay my bill with a credit card? Is there an extra charge?
Great News! The Chase at Murray added a new feature that lets you pay online! View your balance, submit electronic checks, or pay with a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover from any computer. You can even submit maintenance requests! Just log on to our website, click the "Resident's Only" link and "Pay Rent." This will take you to our resident rent pay portal. There is a small convenience charge for this service.

Do I have to have a meal plan?
You do not need a meal plan to live at The Chase at Murray.

How many people live there?
The Chase at Murray has 108 apartments, with 408 beds.

How much more does it cost to stay here than on campus?
Your cost depends on your residence hall choice. In most cases the cost is about the same. At The Chase at Murray, you do not have to move out of your apartment over the university breaks.

Will you send me a bill each month for rent?
No, we do not send a bill for each month your rent is due. We expect the resident to keep up with all payments.

If I am over 21, do I need to have a guarantor?
Yes, we require a Guarantee of Lease from all of our residents. We ask that a guarantor provide us a copy of their driver's license and be over 25 years of age.

When is my first payment due?
For fall move-ins, the first installment is due August 1, 2008.

If I pay in full, do I get a discount?
Unfortunately there is no discount for payment in full.

What size are the beds?
All of our furnished units feature a full size bed.

Can additional furniture be brought into the apartment?
You may bring your own furnishings into the apartment, but all of the Chase furniture must stay in the apartment as well and is the responsibility of the resident.
