Can additional furniture be brought into the apartment?

We want our residents to make their apartment a home. Residents are more than welcome to bring furniture in or to temporarily remove furniture. No, we do not send a bill for rent. We do encourage every resident to look over their lease agreement and become familiar with the payment due dates. Bettie Johnson Hall provides parking in the large lot that is adjacent to the building. There is always adequate parking to meet everyone's needs. Can I request an apartment or roommates?

Yes! We try our best to accommodate our residents apartment assignment request. If a resident wishes to room with certain people, it should be indicated on the back of their application. Bettie Johnson Hall will only honor mutual roommate requests. If a change occurs after the initial application has been turned in, a resident can call the office at (502) 854-9011 to make a new request. However, the closer it gets to move-in, it becomes more difficult to accommodate these requests so any requests cannot be guaranteed.

What if I need to cancel my lease?

Just like with any other housing facilities, the lease for Bettie Johnson Hall is a binding contract. However, if a special circumstance arises then a resident may fill out a lease cancellation form and turn it in to the front desk. This form does NOT guarantee that the resident will be released from his/her lease agreement with out financial penalty.
Any other questions may be directed to a member of the management team.
